All Dolled Up

Colors rotated 3 times

This tutorial is for those that have a working knowledge of PSP. This tutorial was written by me on August 14, 2018 and any resemblance is purely coincidental. I use PSP 9, but any version should work. I do not allow my tutorials to be translated and please do not claim them as your own. If you would like to share the tutorial, please send a link to my blog.  Thank you!

Things Needed:
·         Kit of choice: optional- you can do this just using patterns and colors but you could use a kit too
·         Plugins: None
·         Masks: None
·         Template: I am using a forum template 060 by Spawn which you can find here http://spawnsfstemplates.blogspot.com/
·         Font of Choice: Font of choice I used Quiska
·         Animation, or other items used: None
Let’s Begin:
1.)    Open the template
2.)    Hit Shift+D on your keyboard
3.)    Close the original
4.)    Now on the copy delete credits Layer
5.)    This is going to be referred to as our working image now
6.)    Highlight the bottom layer of our working image
7.)    Selections- Select all
8.)    Selections- Float
9.)    Selections- Defloat
10.)  Fill with either a pattern of choice or color
11.)  Selections Select None
12.)  Delete the Main Background layer
13.)  Highlight the Foreground Layer
14.)  Selections- Select all
15.)  Selections- Float
16.)  Selections- Defloat
17.)  Add a new raster layer
18.)  Fill with pattern or color of your choosing now
19.)  Selections- Select none
20.)  Delete The original Foreground Layer
21.)  Open your tube and let’s set our foreground and background with 2 colors that compliment one another I used #724421 for background and #e0bb7d for foreground
22.)  On our working image highlight the layer that is named left stripes
23.)  Selections - Select All
24.)  Selections - Float
25.)  Selections – Defloat
26.)  New raster Layer
27.)  Flood fill with pattern or color of your choosing
28.)  Select None
29.)  Okay now we are going to start on the lines on the right side
30.)  But first we are going to make 3 swatches as it will make it easier to be able to click them in-between three colors
31.)  Got to the top and select New and use these settings: 100,100,72 transparent
32.)  Hit Shift+D Twice
33.)  Now fill these squares with the 2 colors we made earlier and one new one (#724421, #e0bb7d , and #ad6252)
34.)  Now back to our working image
35.)  We are going to select the lines on the right one at a time and fill them with our 3 colors rotating the colors until all lines are filled
36.)  Now you can merge all the same colors together if you wish at this time (We can use Manual color correction to change them for the changes in the future steps)
37.)  Add a drop shadow to the layers of colored lines if you want
38.)  Select the layer called Border
39.)  Selections- Select All- Float- Defloat
40.)  Fill with color of choice
41.)  Add your Name and copyrights as a new layer
42.)  Copy Merged
43.)  Open in animation shop
44.)  Paste as a new animation
45.)  Now go back into Paint shop and using your manual color correction change/rotate the colors of your bars on the right side
46.)  Copy Merged one more time and paste as a new frame in Animation Shop
47.) Repeat step 45 and 46 one more time for a 3rd frame, so that our colors will rotate in order (I truly hope this makes sense, if not please contact me)
48.)  Change your frames speed to 35 and view your animations to see if you like your results- You can keep rotating images in PSP until you have the desired effect of your liking
49.)  Save as a gif and you are done… thank you for trying my tutorial I would love to see your results

My Disclosure

My tutorials are just that- Mine.In other words I really don't want them on other sites or translated. If you would like to share my tutorial then please do just that by sharing the link to my blog or a link straight to the tutorial. At the time I write the tutorial I use the artists website at the time as well as the kit designers link at the time and it would take quite some time to go back and edit all of my tutorials and posts to reflect all changes that happen. So if by chance you cant find something or a link I provided has gone bad please contact me and I will do my best to help! I write tutorials in hopes that others will use them as a guide and send me their results so I can also post others results to show people other samples other than my own. All tutorials are written by me and any resemblance is purely coincidental. I write my tutorials in PSP 9 but they should work with other versions as well. Not all tutorials are for beginners but all levels of creators are encouraged to try working on the following tutorials!!! Have fun... and be copyright safe!!!!
