Burgundy Nights Tutorial



This tutorial is for those that have a working knowledge of PSP. This tutorial was written by me on August 15, 2018 and any resemblance is purely coincidental. I use PSP 9, but any version should work. I do not allow my tutorials to be translated and please do not claim them as your own. Things Needed:
·         Tube/Image of choice:
·         Kit of choice: I am using a PTU Kit called Pink Nights by Foxys Designz which can be purchased here: https://www.mysticalscraps.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_229&products_id=19564&zenid=b4a9decbfee7cad11473c3589c8944eb
·         Plugins: None
·         Masks:None
·         Template: None
·         Font of Choice: I used Castor Narrow 
·         Animation, or other items used:
Let’s Begin:
1.)    Open a new transparent image 800 x 800
2.)    Open frame of choice and resize by 50%
3.)    Copy and paste as a new layer on our working image
4.)    Open paper of choice and copy
5.)    Highlight the bottom layer (raster 1)
6.)    Paste into selection
7.)    Open Element27_FD.png and resize by 50%
8.)    Copy and paste as a new layer
9.)    Move into position of your liking
10.)  I moved it to the top of my frame
11.)  Open Element40_FD.png and resize by 30% and again by 75%
12.)  Move to the bottom center of your frame
13.)  Open Element24_FD.png and resize by 50%
14.)  Copy and paste as a new layer on our working image
15.)  Image rotate to the left by 90 degrees
16.)  Move to the left of our flower and drag this layer below our flower
17.)  Duplicate
18.)  Image- Mirror
19.)  Open Element47_FD.png and resize by 50%
20.)  Paste as a new layer on our working image
21.)  Send this layer to the bottom
22.)  Add a nice drop shadow to all layers now
23.)  Open Element34_FD.png and resize by 70%
24.)  Move to the left of our frame and place to your liking
25.)  Duplicate – Image- Mirror
26.)  Add your drop shadow to these two layers now
27.)  Open the moon and resize by 65%
28.)  Copy and paste as a new layer on our working image
29.)  Move to the top middle of our image and move below all other layers
30.)  Open Element41_FD.png and resize by 15
31.)  Copy and paste as a new layer on our working image
32.)  Place to your liking and duplicate if you would like more than one butterfly
33.)  Open Element12_FD.png and resize by 40%
34.)  Copy and paste as a new layer on our working image
35.)  Move below the flower in the center
36.)  Duplicate
37.)  Image- Mirror
38.)  Move the ribbons to your liking whether its rotating, flipping or cropping work your magic
39.)  Add a drop shadow to both ribbons
40.)  Open your tube and resize if necessary
41.)  Paste as a new layer on your working image moving it to your liking
42.)  Now using your selection tool draw a rectangle around the outer part of your tag
43.)  Crop to selection
44.) Resize now if you choose to do so
45.)  Add your copyright layer
46.) Merge all layers visible
47.)  Add any other elements you would like at this time
48.)  Add Text and you are finished, I would love to see your results
