Blue Whispers

This tutorial is for those that have a working knowledge of PSP. This tutorial was written by me on the 28th day of January 2011 and any resemblance is purely coincidental. I used PSP 9, but any version should work. I do not allow my tutorials to be translated and please do not claim them as your own. Supplies needed:

• Tube of Choice: I’m using a tube from Jamie Kidd which you can purchase from CDO (Creative Design Outlet)
• Scrap Kit of choice: I am using Love Whispers a PTU kit from Wicked Princess Scraps which you can purchase HERE

Let’s Begin:
1. Open a new transparent image 600x600 we can resize later
2. Open WP_LW_HEARTCHARM.png
3. Resize by 40%
4. Paste as a new layer on our working image
5. With your magic wand click inside the circle
6. Selections- Modify- Expand by 2
7. Open paper of choice I used paper 1
8. Resize by 50%
9. Paste as a new layer on our working image
10. Move the paper into place
11. Selections – Invert
12. Hit delete one time on the keyboard
13. Select None
14. Move this layer below our charm frame
15. Click in the center of the frame again
16. Open your tube and resize if necessary
17. Paste as a new layer on our working image
18. Place to your liking
19. Selections – Modify expand by 2
20. Invert
21. Now delete on your keyboard
22. Select none and move this layer below our frame once again
23. Add drop shadow of your choice to your tube layer now
24. Open WP_LW_HEARTDOODLE.png resize by 50 % and again by 85%
25. Paste as a new layer on our working image
26. Move off to the top left of the frame
27. Adjust- Sharpness- Sharpen
28. Now add drop shadow to this layer
29. I used 0,0,100,6 black
30. Open WP_LW_SINGLEROSE.png
31. Resize by 30% and again by 75%
32. Paste as a new layer on our working image
33. Image- Flip
34. Image- Mirror
35. Now move to the bottom right of our frame
36. Adjust- Sharpness
37. Duplicate
38. Image- Mirror
39. Add drop shadow to both rose layers
40. Open WP_LW_SHOESTRINGHEARTBOW.png
41. Resize by 30 % and paste as a new layer on our working image
42. Move into place between the two roses
43. Open WP_LW_DIAMONDSCATTER.png
44. Resize by 85% and paste as a new layer
45. Move this layer to the bottom and add a subtle drop shadow
46. Add your copyrights and text at this time
That’s it… we are done.. I would love to see your results…
