This tutorial is for those that have a working knowledge of PSP. This tutorial was written by me on May 8, 2018 and any resemblance is purely coincidental. I use PSP 9, but any version should work. I do not allow my tutorials to be translated and please do not claim them as your own. If you would like to share the tutorial please send a link to my blog. Thank you!
- Things Needed: Tube/Image of choice: I am using the PTU work of the talented Ash Evans which can only be used with a license. Please do not use their work without purchasing them from Creative Design Outlet (CDO) and also obtaining a license from CDO as well
- Kit of choice: I am using a kit called Sparkling Starfish which can be purchased from Pink Paradox Productions HERE
- Plugins: None
- Masks: Mask of Choice
- Template of Choice I am using a Creative Misfits Template by: Millie which you can find this template on the Creative Misfits Blog HERE We will be using Draygonfly_Mask6
- Font, Animation, or other items needed: Font of Choice for Name
Let’s Begin:
- Open your template hit Shift D to duplicate and close the original
- Change the canvas size to 900 x 900 (we can resize it later if you choose to do so
- Delete the top layer, and the background layer
- Now we are gonna work from the bottom layer up
- So layer 1 Selections, Float, Selections, Defloat
- Choose a paper of your liking , and paste as a new layer
- Selections, Invert, Delete
- Delete original layer 1
- Repeat this on layers 2-11 (skipping layer 9) making sure the papers you choose look well together as you do not want it to clash
- On Layer 9 use your manual correction tool to change the color to one that matches your kit or tube
- On Layer 12 you want to make sure you pic the background that will make your tube pop
- On layer 13 choose an image that might really show many colors to represent the color palette of the kit or tube you are using... Something to hit the theme so to speak
- Once all your layers are completely done go back and add a drop shadow to each layer. Im using 0,0,100,5 Shadow on new layer UNchecked (on the wordart I changed the 5.00 to 3.00 so it doesnt blur it all out)
- Now we are going to add our tube, resize if needed
- Once happy with placement add dropshadow of your liking I used 0,0,100,10
- Merge visible
- Open paper of your choice
- Paste as a new layer and send it to the bottom
- Layers Mask Layer-from Image
- Merge group
- I added minimal elements because I really like how the tag is with just the template and the unicorn but I wanted to add just a slight feminine touch to the tag so I added a couple flowers
- Now feel free to add any extra elements to the tag at this time
- Add your copyrights.... Never forget your copyrights!!!!
- Add your name or saying at this time and add a drop shadow of your liking or you can use the 0,0,100,5.00
- Thank you for trying my tutorial if you have any questions feel free to email me at theycallmetig@yahoo.com subject line: Tutorial Name you have questions or inquiries about.
- I would love to see your results... you can send them to me at the same email listed above, except change the subject to Tutorial Name Results... thanks!!!
