This tutorial is for those that have a
working knowledge of PSP. This tutorial was written by me on March 26, 2013 and
any resemblance is purely coincidental. I use PSP 9, but any version should
work. I do not allow my tutorials to be translated and please do not claim them
as your own. If you would like to share the tutorial please send a link to my
blog. Thank you!
Things Needed:
Tube/Image of choice: I used the work of the amazing MichaelCalandra- You can purchase his work through CDO’s store
Kit of choice: I am using the awesome kit called Can’t beTamed by Pimp’d Designs aka Cora
Plugins: None
Masks/Templates: None
Font, Animation, or other items needed: I used Rock's Death
Let’s Begin:
1)
Open a new image 600 x 600 (we will call this
our working image)
2)
Open pd-frame-04.png and resize by 50%
3)
Copy and paste as a new layer on our working
image
4)
Image—Rotate by 90 degrees to the left
5)
Move to the left of our working image
6)
Now duplicate this layer and move over to the
right so that there is a little space between the two and duplicate again and
move over to the right again so there is a little space again
7)
Now you have a total of three frames – Merge
visible
8)
Now using your magic wand, click inside the
center of all 3 frames (if using one paper)
9)
Create a new raster layer on our working image
10)
Open paper of choice at this time
11)
Copy and paste into selection
12)
Send this layer to the bottom so it’s beneath the frames
13)
Highlight your top layer
14)
Now open up the hand cuffs and resize by 50%
15)
Copy and paste as a new layer on our working
image
16)
I selected little parts of the handcuffs so that
it looks as if the hand cuffs are connected to our frame
17)
Open the mask inside the kit
18)
Resize by 50% and then again by 85%
19)
Copy and paste as a new layer on our working
image
20)
Move slightly to the right of the frame
21)
Using our deform tool to rotate to the slight
right
22)
Adjust-Sharpness-Sharpen
23)
Add a nice drop shadow I used 0,0,100,5 black
UN-Check shadow on new layer
24)
I applied the drop shadow twice to both the hand
cuffs and mask if you want them to pop a little more
25)
Open the staple and resize by 50%
26)
Copy and paste as a new layer on our working
image
27)
Move into place of your choice
28)
Duplicate this layer and move the other staple
to your liking
29)
Add drop shadow again (using the same one you
used in step 23)
30)
Open flower of your choosing (I’m using flower 3)
31)
I resized the flower to my liking and put it
right in the center of our hand cuffs and mask
32)
Add your drop shadow again
33)
Open pd-glitter-01.png and resize by 50%
34)
Copy and paste as a new layer on our working
image
35)
Duplicate as necessary and place to your liking
to have the splatter effect behind the tag
36)
Open feather of your choosing
37)
Resize again by 50%
38)
Paste as a new layer on our working image
39)
Using your deform tool and rotate so that your
feather are sitting on top of your frame
40)
Duplicate—Image—Mirror
41)
Using your move tool move to place again to your
liking
42)
Open pd-metal-bow.png resize by 75%
43)
Copy and paste as a new layer on our working
image
44)
Move to the top center and add our drop shadow
again
45)
Add your tube as you wish now, I used a tube and
then the close up of the same tube to make the part that looked empty look
fuller in the frames
46)
Add your text and COPYRIGHTS now, and we are finished....
There ya have it another tut by me, if you
try this tutorial I would love to see your results! I would like a few samples
to go with each tutorial!
Hugs,
