Faes and Flowers Tut
This tutorial is for those that have a working knowledge of PSP. This tutorial was written by me on the 16th day of June 2011 and any resemblance is purely coincidental. I used PSP 9, but any version should work. I do not allow my tutorials to be translated and please do not claim them as your own. Things Needed:
Tube of choice: I am using the work of the talented Caron Vinson which you can purchase at CDO ; though I bought mine at the former CILM.
Kit of choice: I am using the kit called Clear Day from Sugarkissed Designs
Let’s Begin:
1. Open a new transparent image 650 x 650 we will call this our working image (we will definitely be resizing later.)
2. Open SK_CDay_El22.png and paste as a new layer on our working image
3. Open SK_CDay_El02.png and paste as a new layer on our working image
4. Move over to the left hand side of Element 22 until satisfied with the placement
5. Duplicate this layer
6. Image—Mirror
7. Now move this top layer to the bottom
8. Highlight raster 2
9. Click in the center of the circle using your magic wand to select inside the frame
10. Selections—Modify—Expand by 10
11. Open paper of choice ( I used paper 5) and paste as a new layer on our working image
12. Selections—invert
13. Hit delete on your keyboard one time
14. Selections—Select none
15. Move this layer beneath the circle frame layer
16. Now repeat steps 11-15 with each of the squares (using papers of your choice)
17. Now all of our frames should have papers in them
18. Highlight our very top layer
19. Open SK_CDay_El24.png
20. Resize by 85%
21. Paste as a new layer on our working image
22. Move to the top of our frame
23. Image—Duplicate
24. Image—Flip
25. Merge layer down
26. Duplicate again
27. Image—Rotate making sure all layers is Unchecked by 90 degrees
28. Merge layer down again
29. Now move this layer to the very bottom and add a drop shadow
30. My drop shadow settings are -5, 5, 25, 2 shadow on new layer Unchecked
31. Open SK_CDay_El30.png
32. Resize by 50%
33. Paste as a new layer and slightly rotate to your liking with your deform tool
34. Crop off the excess so that it is not covering our middle frame
35. Once happy add a drop shadow ( I used the same one as before)
36. Duplicate
37. Image—Flip
38. Now you will have to move this one up to fit at the bottom of the frame
39. Open SK_CDay_El35.png and paste as a new layer on our working image
40. Move to your liking
41. Now open SK_CDay_El34.png and move to the flower and move below the flower layer
42. Open SK_CDay_El29.png and resize by 50%
43. Paste as a new layer and place to your liking
44. Add your tube or tubes at this time ( You will have your main tube and then one in each of the frames)
45. Once satisfied make sure all layers have a drop shadow…
46. Merge all layers visible
47. Resize by 75% all layers checked
48. Go to image—canvas size
49. Make your canvas size 500 x 500 with the center button ticked
50. Open SK_CDay_El32.png and paste as a new layer
51. Now send this layer to the bottom
52. Add your name and of course your copyright layer and we will now call it done!!

Angels Breath Tut

Things Needed:
Tube of choice: I am using the work of Zindy Nielsen which you can purchase from here.
Kit of choice: I am using the kit called Angels Breath from Heartfelt Perfections which you can purchase from here.
Let’s Begin:
1. Open a new transparent image 600 x 600 we will call this our working image
2. Now open frame 3 OR 4 the choice is yours. I will be using both. (if you want to use both continue here or skip to step )
3. On both frame layers go to :Image , Resize 25%
4. Copy both and paste as a new layer on our working image
5. Now you want to set your selection tools to :
Freehand Selection: Point to point Mode: Add/Shift Feather: 5
6. Now you want to select parts of your top frame with your selection tool
7. When happy with the parts you have selected hit delete on your keyboard one time
8. Selections- Select None
9. Merge all layers visible
10. Image resize by 75% making sure all layers is not checked
11. Now select the center of our frame with your magic wand
12. Selections- Modify- Expand by 10
13. Open paper of choice and resize by 45% TWICE
14. Now paste as a new layer on our working image
(I used paper 4)
15. Selections-invert- delete
16. Selections – Select None
17. Move raster one below our frame layer
18. Add your tube at this time
19. Add drop shadow of your choosing to your tube
20. Open Beads and Beads 2
21. Resize them by 25% and then again by 50%
22. Paste them on our working image and place them to your liking (or look at the sample tag for placement)
23. Now move your beads to the bottom...beneath all of the other layers
24. Open hearts.png
25. Resize by 25%
26. Paste as a new layer on our working image
27. Move below our tube layer
28. Place to your liking
29. Now duplicate and mirror so it’s on the opposite side
30. Now duplicate again and rotate by 45% place to your liking
31. Duplicate one more time and mirror again
32. Once happy with the placement of your hearts add a drop shadow
33. Open Bow Dangle and resize by 25%
34. Paste as a new layer on our working image
35. Move this to the top
36. Place the bottom of our frame/tube and add a drop shadow
37. At this point I am satisfied with my tag but if you want feel free to add more elements
38. Add your copyrights and text at this time
That’s it we are done with our tag
Export as a .png and walla our new tag is complete
