Angels Breath Tut

This tutorial is for those that have a working knowledge of PSP. This tutorial was written by me on the 9th day of June 2011 and any resemblance is purely coincidental. I used PSP 9, but any version should work. I do not allow my tutorials to be translated and please do not claim them as your own. If you would like to share the tutorial please send a link to my blog.
Things Needed:
Tube of choice: I am using the work of Zindy Nielsen which you can purchase from here.
Kit of choice: I am using the kit called Angels Breath from Heartfelt Perfections which you can purchase from here.

Let’s Begin:

1. Open a new transparent image 600 x 600 we will call this our working image
2. Now open frame 3 OR 4 the choice is yours. I will be using both. (if you want to use both continue here or skip to step )
3. On both frame layers go to :Image , Resize 25%
4. Copy both and paste as a new layer on our working image
5. Now you want to set your selection tools to :
Freehand Selection: Point to point Mode: Add/Shift Feather: 5
6. Now you want to select parts of your top frame with your selection tool
7. When happy with the parts you have selected hit delete on your keyboard one time
8. Selections- Select None
9. Merge all layers visible
10. Image resize by 75% making sure all layers is not checked
11. Now select the center of our frame with your magic wand
12. Selections- Modify- Expand by 10
13. Open paper of choice and resize by 45% TWICE
14. Now paste as a new layer on our working image
(I used paper 4)
15. Selections-invert- delete
16. Selections – Select None
17. Move raster one below our frame layer
18. Add your tube at this time
19. Add drop shadow of your choosing to your tube
20. Open Beads and Beads 2
21. Resize them by 25% and then again by 50%
22. Paste them on our working image and place them to your liking (or look at the sample tag for placement)
23. Now move your beads to the bottom...beneath all of the other layers
24. Open hearts.png
25. Resize by 25%
26. Paste as a new layer on our working image
27. Move below our tube layer
28. Place to your liking
29. Now duplicate and mirror so it’s on the opposite side
30. Now duplicate again and rotate by 45% place to your liking
31. Duplicate one more time and mirror again
32. Once happy with the placement of your hearts add a drop shadow
33. Open Bow Dangle and resize by 25%
34. Paste as a new layer on our working image
35. Move this to the top
36. Place the bottom of our frame/tube and add a drop shadow
37. At this point I am satisfied with my tag but if you want feel free to add more elements
38. Add your copyrights and text at this time
That’s it we are done with our tag
Export as a .png and walla our new tag is complete
I hope you like your finished tag, I would love to see your result

My Disclosure

My tutorials are just that- Mine.In other words I really don't want them on other sites or translated. If you would like to share my tutorial then please do just that by sharing the link to my blog or a link straight to the tutorial. At the time I write the tutorial I use the artists website at the time as well as the kit designers link at the time and it would take quite some time to go back and edit all of my tutorials and posts to reflect all changes that happen. So if by chance you cant find something or a link I provided has gone bad please contact me and I will do my best to help! I write tutorials in hopes that others will use them as a guide and send me their results so I can also post others results to show people other samples other than my own. All tutorials are written by me and any resemblance is purely coincidental. I write my tutorials in PSP 9 but they should work with other versions as well. Not all tutorials are for beginners but all levels of creators are encouraged to try working on the following tutorials!!! Have fun... and be copyright safe!!!!
