Spring Photos

This tutorial is for those that have a working knowledge of PSP. This tutorial was written by me on the 15th day of May 2011 and any resemblance is purely coincidental. I used PSP 9, but any version should work. I do not allow my tutorials to be translated and please do not claim them as your own. If you would like to share the tutorial please send a link to my blog.

Things Needed:
Plugins: Xero- Fritillary
Tubes of choice: I am using the talented Barbara Jensen which you can purchase from her site here.

.) Set your top paper layers blend mode to hard light
.) Plugins- xero- Fritillary at default settings
.) Open circle frame resize by 50%
.) And again by 90%
.) Copy and paste the frame as a new layer
.) Now open circle frame 2

.) Now duplicate the purple frame

.) Now move these two layers below our other frame layers
.) Highlight layer 3
.) Now open WP_SC_BEADEDSCATTER.png and resize by 50%
.) Paste as a new layer on our working image
.) Move to the bottom left corner of our image
.) Duplicate –Image—Mirror
.) Now merge this layer down
.) Duplicate again
.) Now Image- Flip
.) Add a drop shadow of your choice to the bead layers
.) Now highlight layer 4 (which should be your top layer)
.) Open the single rose and resize by 30%
.) Copy and paste as a new layer
.) Image- Flip
.) Now paste to the right of our middle frame
.) Duplicate
.) Image Mirror
.) Again add the drop shadow of your choice
.) Now open flower of choice to place in the center of our roses
.) Now this step is optional-
You can add a paper of your choice to the center of your frames or you can leave them open
I chose to use papers to add additional color to the tag
.) Now moving on we are going to add our tubes of choice to our working image
.) Once satisfied add drop shadow of choice to all 3 tubes
.) Merge visible
.) Add a new raster layer and fill with color to match your tag
.) Selections- Select all – Modify- Contract by 2
.) Hit delete on your keyboard one time
.) Now again add drop shadow of choice to this layer
.) Add your copyrights and text of choice
.) Merge visible and Export as a JPG
That’s it we are finished. I hope you like your results and I would love to see your results!
Feel free to share your results with me.
